Recorded on a beautiful sunny spring day, Elisa showed us around the area where she grew up. Elisa used to live in this neighborhood her entire childhood and adolescence. Her neighborhood (Taiyuan Lu Xiao Qu) has not changed much compared to the streetscape. She recalls antique markets on Yongkang Lu, the streetside vegetable market on Jiashan Lu being so narrow one could barely walk, and finally meeting her friend’s family in the old French concession house she grew up in.
